Proprietor Kalay Chetty and husband Deena Chetty who manages the
restaurant have put a great deal of thought into making the Ahara eating
experience one that is a pleasure.
The
décor is warm and inviting and the staff mirror this in their friendly and
welcoming service. Specialty curries
include lamb rogan gosh, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, Durban lamb
curry and prawn masala. Vegetarians will
be pleased to see an extensive menu with favourite’s dhal makhnie and paneer
tikka masala. It is recommend that one
finish off ones meal with a chai masala tea.

Assorted Indian breads are baked in a clay oven. All naan bread is baked in the wood burning
Tandoori oven and the popular starters lamb shish kebabs and chicken tikka are
served with butter naan and are complimented with delicious mint, coriander and
yoghurt sauce and a sweet chilli sauce.
