There is a long history of 40 years that spans Wheelchair Basketball SA. Established in 1970 under the SA Sports for the Physically Disabled.

It's going to be an action-packed international wheelchair basketball - entertainment at its best, and as part of this sports extravaganza, Sasol, proud sponsors of the Sasol SA Senior Men’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team since 2007, have spiced up the sports scene even further, by offering a weekend trip to Paris for one lucky sports fan and partner.

Sasol are proud to support selected sporting and artistic initiatives, as well environmental and educational organisations and events.  They currently devote most of their sponsorship investment in South Africa to sport and sponsor several South African national teams

Sasol also support environmental programmes focused on the conservation of wild dogs, vultures and ground hornbills, as well as educational programmes including natural history publications and birding-related projects.

The Sasol AmaWheelaBoys are on the charge and the visiting French team will be looking to dent our proudly South African pride when the 4-Test Sasol All Star Series takes place at the Mandeville Sports Club in Johannesburg from July 25 to August 1.

The French All Star team returns to take on the Sasol Amawheelaboys in the 10th year of international tours of South Africa. Over the weekend of the 25th to 27th July.  Public support welcome!

Team Sasol SA will play the French in 3 internationals and conclude the tour with the 4th game on the 1 August 2014. On Monday the 28 July, the French All Stars will be taking on a Discovery Invitation Team at Mandeville and on the Tuesday 29 July, the French will play a Ricoh Invitational team at the Pretoria Club.
